Today was Milly’s First Birthday!
It’s gone by extremely quickly but today was Milly’s first Birthday! It seems a lifetime ago since we brought her back as a little puppy but she’s grown up into a lovely dog.

She got spoilt with her own Birthday hamper from Vivadogs which saved us a fortune and gave Milly all her favourites treats.
We decided to take her on some nice long walks for her Birthday weekend so went to Bishop Auckland Castle and Hury Reservoir.
“It seems a lifetime ago since we brought her back as a little puppy but she’s grown up into a lovely dog!”
The walk around Bishop Auckland Castle is a lovely route with some great views of the Castle. There’s some great circular routes and a river where Milly took a quick dip, as it was a warmer day than usual and she was due to be groomed!

She also decided to play a quick game of Peekaboo over some the hills much to our amusement. After a nice long walk it was back to the house to have a much needed bath, quick snooze and relax with her hamper of treats.

On Sunday we went for a walk around Hury Reservoir for the first time. We had Jack and decided to take a pushchair in case it was a little too far for him. Everything started brilliantly with Jack walking beautifully but as the ground got more and more boggy he gave up and I wish we did too! We persevered round the full circular route but after pushing a heavy toddler and pushchair through 6 inches of wet sloppy mud for a few miles we were worse for wear once we arrived back at the car! We tried to scrape the mud off our feet, the pushchair and Milly’s fur but were reside to having to wash the car once we returned home. It was an extremely hard walk but it was rather amusing to watch Emma (My Wife) trying leap frog over Cow muck and getting her feet stuck several times!
All in all I think Milly really enjoyed her walks on her Birthday weekend and we’ll always remember the comedy value of the Hury walk 🙂
Relaxed Pet Portrait Sessions
People say don't work with animals and children but I obviously don't agree! I'm an animal lover and pet owner myself, so understand how to work with the them to get the best images from the session.
I aim to provide a friendly and relaxed experience for both owner and pet, which allows everyone to enjoy the photoshoot.I have travelled to many different locations around the North East for photoshoots and just love working with new customers in different locations. All my packages include a shoot tailored to you, so if there is that one special location you have fond memories of then why not capture those memories.
