Milly’s First

Snow Day
(Snowy Cockapoo)

Milly was rather surprised when she went outside this morning to find this cold white stuff all over the garden! She was one snowy Cockapoo!!

It had been very cold over the last few days and we were forecast a decent covering of snow. So when we let opened the curtains and saw how much had laid Joshua wanted to go out in the garden before School to have a play. Milly took only a few seconds before she reacted with uncontrollable excitement.

Milly instantly started to doodle dash around the garden and soon learnt that if stops suddenly after a mad dash that she skids! It was safe to say that she didn’t mind the coldness of the snow because she kept ringing her Pooch Door Bells to go outside and play some more!

After about an hour of her constantly ringing the bell to go outside we gave her a time out in her crate. I think it took another hour or so for the ringing to stop in our of our ears 🙂

Luckily the snow was still around when the weekend came and so I decided to take her for a proper walk over the fields. I let her off the lead in a large open field and just lay down taking as many pictures of her as my camera would allow. The light was extremely bright which if caught correctly cast a lovely soft glow on her fur but it was tricky to capture the shots with her constantly running in and out of the shadows, I think she likes to do it on purpose sometimes to keep me on my toes!

The next day the snow had melted and it was back to normality but it was fun while it lasted. I managed to get some great shots of Milly in the snow and they will always remind me of when she first saw the white stuff!

Relaxed Pet Portrait Sessions

People say don't work with animals and children but I obviously don't agree! I'm an animal lover and pet owner myself, so understand how to work with the them to get the best images from the session.

I aim to provide a friendly and relaxed experience for both owner and pet, which allows everyone to enjoy the photoshoot.

I have travelled to many different locations around the North East for photoshoots and just love working with new customers in different locations. All my packages include a shoot tailored to you, so if there is that one special location you have fond memories of then why not capture those memories.
